Corporal Armand J. Robidoux (MCSN: 442281), United States Marine Corps, was awarded the Silver Star (Posthumously) for gallantry in action at Iwo Jima, Volcano Islands on February 17, 1945. Action Date: 17-Feb-45 Service: Marine Corps Rank: Corporal |
Veterans Day Ceremony at the Memorial will take place at approximately 12:20 p.m. on Sunday, November 11th. |
Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day December 7, 2012 |
Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day will be observed at the National Iwo Jima Memorial on Dec 7, 2012 from 11 am to 2 pm. Foundation President, Gary Roy, and Vice-President, Mark Adamski, will be there to observed the day. They will lay a wreath at 12:55 pm EST (7:55 am HST) the time of the attack. Please stop by if you can to observe this day in which America was attacked and so many innocent lives were killed, injured and lost. |
